IGRSUP Full Guide

IGRSUP or the IGRS Uttar Pradesh is a portal launched by the Stamp and Registration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The portal deals in the registration of various documents including properties, Certificates, etc. The department keeps a record of the certificates and documents to make them available for the government as well as the general public. The department is also involved in collecting stamp duties on the registration of documents. With maintaining records, the portal also provides various services to the citizens like encumbrance certificates, Property search, and details, Information related to stamp duty, Availability of certified documents, registration of property and other documents, etc.


Services Available on IGRSUP Portal

There are various services available on the IGRSUP official portal for the citizens of the state, some of them are listed below-

Providing certified copies of documents for public use.
Registration of Hindu Marriage certificate.
Sales or Donation letters of agricultural property are made available
Registration of certificates
Stamp Withdrawal
Modification of property documents
Registration of property
Fee details and other services related to Stamp Duty.

IGRSUP also makes available the registration of properties which are immovable in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Follow the simple steps given below to register your property on IGRSUP-

  • Visit the official web page of the IGRS Uttar Pradesh which is igrsup.gov.in.
  • On the front page of the portal, look for the Box of Property Registration under the citizen online services column.
  • In the box, Select the link saying “APPLY”.
  • On the page that will open then, click on the option of New Application.
  • You will then be redirected to the Registration Page wherein fill in the details asked like District, Deputy Registrar, Tehsil, Mobile number etc.
  • Then you need to decide a password for your account and fill it 2 times in the spaces provided, Fill in the captcha code given and click on Enter.
  • You will then be registered on the portal, After which a List of registration will open.
  • Select the document for which you need to register.
  • Fill in the name of the Deed presenter and the contact details
  • Then fill in the details related to the property of registration like the area- Rural or Urban, sub-registrar, Tehsil, type, etc.
  • Provide the relevant data for valuation of the property, Add sub-clause if any,
  • Attach the required documents like Residential certificates, ID Proofs, Ground paper, Photograph, etc.
  • Add details about parties involved and witnesses of the transaction, Select Deed documents and submit.
  • Based on the details provided by you, registration fees, as well as Stamp Duty fees, will be calculated which will be payable by you on the portal.
  • Save your application form and take a print out of the same which will be required in the sub-registrar office for further verification.
Property Registration IGRSUP


  • Visit the official web portal of IGRSUP that is igrsup.gov.in
  • On the left side of the homepage, Look for the link saying “Application for stamp withdrawal” under the property registration column.
  • On the page that will open next, select the option of “register”
  • Then the page for Stamp Return Registration will open, wherein fill in your District, Mobile number and then set your password for logging in. Confirm your password by entering it again.
  • Fill in the given captcha code and click “enter”.
  • You will be registered successfully after filling in the form that will appear on your screen, Note down your application number to login to the portal in the future.
  • Stamp return request takes at least 30 days time to get completed.


  • Visit the official web page of IGRSU as mentioned above
  • Then on the homepage itself, look for the column of Marriage registration on the left side.
  • Under the column, click on “Apply”
  • If you are a new user, click on “Fill in a new application” on the page that will open, already existing users need to log in using the application number and password.
  • The application form for marriage registration will then open, fill in the form in Hindi and English both with the details asked like Name of spouse, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, DOB, Email ID, Nationality, Age, Address, etc.
  • Secure the first part of the form which is the details of the husband after filling these details, Then the 2nd part which is about the wife, and then the venue and registration of marriage.
  • Upload the required documents like age certificate, aadhar card, Residence certificate, and photographs. The same documents of the 2 witnesses also need to be uploaded.
  • Affidavits to bride and groom are mandatory to upload.
  • Proofread the form and then secure it, Then proceed to the payment of registration and certificate.
  • Download the application form and the payment acknowledgment slip to keep it for future use.
  • You can visit the selected authority within 30 days of filing the application with all your original documents to register your marriage and get a certificate.
Marriage Cretificate IGRSUP


  • Visit the official web portal of IGRSUP.
  • On the homepage itself, look for the option of “application of registered document certificate” Under the Certificate of Registered Document Column
  • A new page will open where you need to fill in the details like District, Deputy registrar office, Registration year, Number of registration and Registration desk, Type of property, Applicant name, etc. Fill in the Captcha code and click on “ENTER”
  • The registration number and other details will appear on your screen.


Property Search ON IGRSUP Portal
  • Visit the official web portal of IGRSUP.
  • On the homepage itself, look for the option of “search property” on the left side.
  • You will then get a list of options on the basis of which you would like to search for a property on IGRSU.
    • Property address (details of deeds registered before 5 December 2017)
    • Property address (details of deeds registered after 5 December 2017)
    • Registration Number/ Registration Date / Registration Year
    • Buyer name (details of deeds registered before 5 December 2017)
    • Seller’s name (details of deeds registered before 5 December 2017)
    • Buyer name (details of deeds registered after 5 December 2017)
    • Name of the seller (details of deeds registered after 5 December 2017)
  • On selecting any of the options, you will have to fill in the details asked on the page that will open – District, name of the buyer, Registration office/ Tehsil, Village or mohalla.
  • Then enter the captcha code provided in the box and click on “see details”

Check Property Details

Property Details Check
  • Visit the official web portal of IGRSUP.
  • On the homepage itself, look for the option of ” property details” on the left side.
  • A new page will open where you select if you want to see the details of an urban property or a rural property.
  • If you select a Rural property, fill in details like District, Tehsil, Mohalla/village, House, or plot number and submit the same.
  • If you choose the option for the urban property, fill in the details – District and property id.
  • A list of categories of details will appear on the screen from which you can select the part you want to view.
  • The various categories will be –
    • Property deed
    • Any taxes or utilities due on the property
    • Any civil or revenue court cases on the property
    • CERSAI details
    • Record of rights
