The rise of Students in Distance learning mode
we have covered some of the major reasons why the number of students preferring distance learning education is increasing. If you wish to know about the pros and cons of online/distance learning then make sure to check out this article.
Easy Admissions or Flexible eligibility
the eligibility requirements for distance learning universities are very basic, which makes it easy for the students to be a part of that university and pursue their higher studies, if we talk about universities like Delhi university there were some colleges and courses which had a cut off of 100% in 2020 and these colleges has limited seats as well so not every student can get a chance to pursue their higher education in such colleges and universities because of the super high eligibility requirements and limitations.
Out of the students completing their schooling, only 25% of them pursue higher education, there could be multiple reasons behind this less number but the financial or economical factor is definitely one of the reasons behind this. To pursue higher education with the regular medium students wish to associate with the best colleges or universities of the nation which are situated in different states, this involves a good amount of budget to be spent which is not possible for a big percentage of students, other than this a majority of students start working just after their 12th because of financial conditions that they just can’t go ahead with their higher studies but the distance learning medium solves this big problem. Distance learning universities give flexibility to such aspiring students who start working but also want to pursue their higher studies, as they can manage their studies with their jobs.
